What is yoga therapy?
Yoga therapy is a holistic, client-centered approach to well-being. It uses all the tools of yoga to help with your physical, emotional and mental health. Unlike a yoga class, a yoga therapy session is tailored to you and your specific health concerns.
How can yoga therapy help me?
Here are just a few of the ways that yoga therapy can help:
Decrease pain and stiffness
Manage anxiety and stress

You can use yoga therapy to deal with specific health concerns, or as an alternative or complement to a group yoga class.
What can I expect during a session?
Your session will start with a short intake form and a discussion of your goals and health concerns. Together, we’ll come up with an individualized and specific plan based on your priorities.
A session could involve any of the tools of yoga, such as:
Physical movement
Mindfulness practices
Breathwork
Mudras (hand gestures) and mantras (chanted or silent words)
We’ll finish with a plan to practice at home.
Many clients report seeing and feeling a change after 4-6 sessions.
